Highway to Healing is an Oliver-based organization that assists families who have a child requiring medical care that is not locally available. They were formed to supplement Community assistance and be prepared to provide support when crisis strikes.
This website project was particularly interesting because the volunteer group member that I worked with had some direct website experience. He is also a very fast learner. The group managed to keep their costs lower than the average, due to the volunteer’s active involvement with writing copy and tweaking the site after I did the main design and development.
